A close-up.... Sunday it was a yucky rainy day sloppy and muddy...but we decided we were going to trugde thru the rain and the mud and find our tree. We drove to our favorite Christmas tree farm and grabbed a little orange saw from the guy that owns the farm and we all set out in search of the perfect tree. It wasn't long (about 5 whole minutes) and we spotted it...standing all gorgeous and perfect in the woods...beautiful blue green medium length needles...a twin sister to the tree we had last year. Kruze pinched off a needle and held it to his nose...Yep...Concolor Pine...it is like nothing you have ever experienced...a perfect blend of pine and citrus and pear...it literally smells like all of these things...and last year our whole house smelled soooo awesome that we were determined to get another tree just like last Christmas. We were so happy to see one left...and about three more just like it. Hopefully no one will walk past them this year and realize what smells so wonderful...I want those trees!! Kruze talked to the farmer about buying some of the trees from him in the spring to plant around our yard, so hopefully we won't forget come spring...I would strongly recommend that anyone owning a little property plant some of these trees (Concolor Pine),in fact as many as possible they are that spectacular. Beautiful and aromatic...

Without a doubt you have inspired me to make sure we get our tree this Sunday. If we don't, Sam will surely give us an attitude. He wants that tree...like yesterday!! It looks beautiful!!
Thank You Reish we deciced to do the red and white theme this year.I think we just like to stretch the Christmas thing as long as we possibly can we try to get the tree up the week after Thanksgiving every year.I guess we just love the lights and the whole idea. It stays up way after Christmas too...though that is in my genes..one year my mom left our tree up until July !! Not even kiddin!! Now that is holdin' on tight to the Christmas spirit!
Oh HOW PRETTY! I wish I could see it.... the ex has the kids over most of christmas break.... maybe I will make a run for it! Warm up that cider my freind!

Another awesome tree and I do have to say they do smell awesome. I also got my tree up on Wednesday though and just to have the Max cat messin with it, how fun. Can't wait to see it at Christmas time.
I am seroius... I cant wait either! Will probably just be one overnighter... but yes, I am serious!
