Hey Kathy:
I love attics too..especially attics in old old houses gotta love that history, our attic has some very interesting slants and angles not to mention an old brick chimney with some awesome brick work those men "back in the day" sure knew how to make things beautiful.

I am determined to find that movie.."A Thousand Clowns" you recommended it to me a while ago and I am having a little trouble finding it around our town...my next step is the internet. By the way I think it is great that you shared all of that stuff and especially the clue to your identity although I think it is far better to remain anonymous,it has its benefits...

LUC,
A few books that may interest SAR:
Fairytopia:A Flower Fairies Journal
and Good Faeries,Bad Faeries By:Brian Froud. Both of the books have gorgeous pics in them and stories that explain the mythology behind them. Also, if she ever is on the internet, she may want to check out Amybrownart.com as she is a wonderful artist and most of her prints sell for a reasonable price (an 8x10 for $15.00) I do love Tinkerbell too and have a few things of her. Hope all is well with you and yours today. Just thought these things may interest her.
Take care
Blondie

Oh no, not "chocolate cream eggs," but rather chocolate egg creams, a concoction comprising chocolate syrup, a little milk and seltzer water indigenous to New York City, which by the way, has the highest consumption of Mallomars per capita in the nation. Regarding "A Thousand Clowns," it's a very tough find. You can find the VHS tape on Amazon probably, and the novella/play in paperback. I liberated my copy some years ago from the MGM library.

Oooops I messed that up...I must say Chocolate egg cremes does sound scrumptious I will have to try them as well as all of the other things about New York that you said we should see (on your blog), if Kruze and I ever get to visit New York...

Lucy Kruze:
Though urban legend has it that egg creams were born in Brooklyn, I prefer to think of Leon's as the birthplace. That said, you can make 'em at home. Fox's U-Bet Chocolate Syrup is a must: http://www.foxs-syrups.com/egg_cream.html. As your pallate hasn't been "egg cream educated," club soda can be substituted for true bottled seltzer (though Leon's makes its own seltzer from NY tap water.
