Sittin' on a driftwood log in the middle of a stream...

Yesterday Anna and I took all the kids to visit my friend Connie (Hi Conrad...you know your gorgeous!!) and let the kids splash and swim in the creek that runs through her property...beautiful tree lined bubbling creek in the middle of a huge rolling hill pasture. We had a great time and the kids had a blast swimming and wading in the creek, there was a huge old driftwood log in the middle of the creek and Con (thanx for tryin' to drown my ass girl!!)and Anna and I climbed out on it sat down and dangled our toes in the cool rushing water...it was fun to talk about when we were kids (we have known each other since we were 13 there was a ton of reminising and giggling) it was awesome to see all of our kids playing and splashing around together just like us three girls have for forever. We talked a little about the things that are going on in her life right now (going thru a divorce after 14 years of marriage) and how she feels about being able to live life for herself now. She is in the process of buying a cute little house (its completely adorable Con) and she is really looking forward to decorating and painting and just having something that is all hers(can't wait to see you standin' in your very own new kitchen) . I took a ton of pictures of the creek and Con and the kids ...I will be posting them soon...especially the ones of Conrad...girl... I'm there for ya...just use my Blog as a singles dating service!!! Anyway it was a perfect day,a beautiful creek, and the beginning of a new life for a rare and special person...

Sounds like you're having a great time. If it was as hot by you as it was here yesterday then being able to dangle your toes in the water was a perfect way to spend the day. Can't wait to get together soon...MISS YA!!!!
